Description
This is our 33 Volt high performance DIY Kart Battery kit. A single kit is a good solution for kid karts and parking lot/driveway toys. You can always upgrade with another one in the future. With 10C or 20C LFP cells, a pair (66V) will turn most any 48V DC brush or brushless motor into a potent powerhouse for your track racer or drift Kart. Each kit contains the components to build one 150 cell (size 26650) 15P10S battery. Every part is included except the cells, which are sold separately. Once we know your intended use, we will suggest the correct cells to buy, or you may supply your own. The battery can be user assembled in a few hours. There is no cell welding involved. All you need to build this are a T15 Torx driver and a Philips screwdriver. Take a look at the EZ-Pack assembly instructions to learn how it’s done.
We do not supply a BMS (battery management system) with this battery. If you are using a BMS, it can be easily connected to the battery terminals, or the wires can be attached to the supplied cell pack interconnects. The battery pictured has our optional charge harness which is required if you are going to use our Perfect Balance LFP Fast Charger. The charge harness and Perfect Balance Fast Charger are sold separately.
Batteries of this size contain a lot of energy. Because the voltage is low, shock hazard through skin contact is also low. However, short circuit spark and fire hazard is always present should carelessness, mishandling, or severe accidental impact occur. Please read and understand completely our battery safety pages before proceeding to assemble. Cells are sold separately.
